Topline-Six Months of News Coverage Index Data
This topline expresses the data for the first six months of 2008 from the PEJ’s weekly tracking of media coverage, The News Coverage Index (NCI). The NCI studies, on a weekly basis, the national news agenda across 48 different news outlets. The data for the entire year of 2008 will be released as part of our State of the News Media 2009 report, which is due out in spring of next year.
When using this or any PEJ data, please include the following citation: The Pew Research Center’s Project for Excellence in Journalism, followed by the date of the data or report from which data is drawn and a link to where the data resides on our Web site.
